The agenda for the April 24 session of the Cedartown Planning Commission can be viewed here.

The Cedartown Welcome Center is a one-stop resource for those visiting our beautiful town.

Located at 609 South Main Street in the heart of downtown, our friendly staff can direct you to great places to eat and interesting places to visit. There are plenty of brochures and maps to grab while you're there, too.

The Welcome Center also features a sampling of the city's past through small displays and exhibits.

If you are heading to the Welcome Center, you might want to bring your bike or walking shoes. We're located right beside the Silver Comet Trail -- a popular trail that winds its way from Atlanta to Anniston, Ala.

The current building is a replica of Cedartown's long-demolished Seaboard Air Line Railway depot. The new structure was constructed in 2004 and stands at the same location on S. Main Street as did the original structure.

The Welcome Center is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
