Three employees presented with service awards

Cedartown, Georgia: January 9, 2017 — Three employees were honored at the Monday, January 9 Cedartown City Commission meeting for going “above and beyond” the normal scope of their job duties.

“These employees have a good attitude, a good work ethic and go the extra mile in serving your city,” said Cedartown City Manager Bill Fann.

SGT. JON ZUKER, K-9 officer for the Cedartown Police Department, was given the Ray Merritt Public Safety Award.

HOLLIS JACKSON, building maintenance technician for One Door Polk, was honored with the Bobby Alexander Public Works Award.

JAMIE RICE, water billing clerk at City Hall, was presented with the Emily Shaw Administrative Award.
